Wal-Mart, for instance, started featuring "Rollback" prices on more than 20,000 items Nov. 1. Thirty-one-year-old Charlotte, North Carolina, resident Alea Sherrill plans on skipping Black Friday this year. "It's just not worth it," says the style blogger, who had a nightmarish shopping experience the day after Thanksgiving about five years ago. "There are one or two deals that are really, really good, but those are the ones where it's the most conflict to get.
